We give all of our couples a fully researched detailed list of ideas on where to go for your post ceremony celebratory lunch or dinner.  You tell us what type of meal you're looking to enjoy and we will give you a personalized outline of your best options, including information on menus, how to book, details on how far the locations are from the ceremony and more.

Included in your wedding package is a custom bridal bouquet designed by our amazing florist Jeffrey Alencastre.  You tell us what you want and we place the order and pick up the florals on your wedding day for you.  Not sure what design to choose, we love lots of ideas to inspire you.  Add on custom bridal flower crown to match your bouquet or a matching boutonniere for your groom at an additional charge. Two brides, or two grooms, we've got a plan for you too, contact us for details!

We hand-pick Hawaiian vines the morning of your wedding and will set them up in the sand creating a beautiful natural aisle for you to walk down. Add Hawaiian flowers to the aisle or rose petals for tossing after you say "I do" for a small added fee. Tossing rose petals are a fun way to celebrate after making it official.  They also create for amazing photos!

The Hawaiian lei ceremony is a fun and beautiful island tradition that we help you incorporate into your wedding ceremony. The exchange of leis represents the two of you choosing each other as partners for life. We provide you with a Bride & Grooms lei and your officiant will guide you through this special ceremony. You may choose to forego this ceremony if you wish and just wear the leis later in the evening. Two brides or two grooms leis may be substituted.

After having done hundreds of weddings, we have built connections to the islands best officiants. We’ll hand-pick a wedding officiant that is the best fit for you as a couple. We ask you several questions to determine who you'd be the best fit for and then will connect you directly with your officiant. We have partnered with religious pastors, non denominational officiants, and also offer Hawaii-inspired ceremonies with Hawaiian blessings and a conch blow. You tell us your vision and we customize your ceremony and match you up with the perfect officiant or minister.

We have partnered with some of the best photographers on the island. Our photographer will guide you with poses, make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera and make sure every moment of your wedding is captured. One hour of professional photography will cover your wedding ceremony plus family and couple photos afterwards. Final photos are edited and provided digitally. If you'd like more time, you can add on additional time with our photographer at a special discounted rate.

This package is set up to be held at a public beach but we know that not all public beaches are worthy of a wedding ceremony.  We've sought out the best possible options and will help you to choose a beach that is perfectly suited to you.  We also help you to figure out the ceremony timing and take care of the beach permits.  We carry a million dollar insurance policy which allows us to purchase all permits legally.

Even though it's called a "Simple Beach Wedding" we know planning a destination wedding is never that simple.  But, that's why you have us!  We don't just send you a "Preferred Vendor List" and then not talk to you until a month before your wedding day, we believe you deserve better than that! Instead you'll get a personal planner who will be available to you 24/7 to guide you from the start of planning until the finish. She'll start by helping you to narrow down the perfect beach location and then will book everything from hair and makeup, to flowers, a musician, videography and transportation. On your actual wedding day, we will be on site to coordinate and manage everything. We know how stressful and overwhelming planning a wedding from afar can be and we have created this package to help take off the pressure and overwhelm so that you can get back to a place of excitement and fun about your wedding.  Even the simplest beach weddings deserve this kind of care and attention and your planner will be there for you through every step of planning. 

We will help you to design a custom playlist with all the right songs played at exactly the right times to create that perfect wedding day ambiance.  We download and play all the music off our speaker to create a custom ceremony personalized just for you.  Prefer to have a live ukulele player? We can set that up too for a small added fee.

We also send all of our couples detailed directions to the ceremony site, parking tips, a back-up rain plan and all the extra info. needed to make sure that your wedding day goes as smoothly as possible.

Once you book with Best Day Ever you'll get invited to a password protected "Insider Guide" website that will go over every possible question you may have about your wedding.  There will be a guideline on how the planning process works, questionnaires to help us execute your vision, details on floral and decor options, info. on your marriage license, tips on the best O'ahu hikes, places to eat, and much much more. Your planner will also be there to guide you through every step of planning but this is just there as an added bonus!

Each package is a little different but generally there is a non-refundable deposit paid upfront to hold your date and secure our services.  If you are booking a private venue wedding that deposit is a little larger as it goes directly towards the payment we make to reserve the venue for you.  The deposit goes towards the total package cost and the remainder of the fees are split into 2-3 payments between now and your wedding day.  Your payment plan is outlined in your contract and we accept both check and credit cards.  Payment reminders and payment links will be sent to those who pay by credit card.  

how does the payment for your services work? 

Once the contract is signed and deposit received, we begin planning right away.  You will get a personal Best Day Ever planner who will be your single point of contact for the entire planning process.  She will help you to book all vendors and will be available to you 24/7 to answer any wedding related question.  You'll also get invited to a special Best Day Ever Insider Guide Website which will go over the planning process, guide you through design options and give you lots of ideas on everything from florals to the best places on the island to eat.  Your planner will guide you through the months leading up to the wedding day and make sure every detail is handled.  On your wedding day we are on site to handle and oversee everything.  You just need to show up!

What can we expect to happen once we book you?

We offer two public venue ceremony options - The Hawaii Beach Wedding (public beach) and The Hawaiian Botanical Garden Wedding.  Although wedding permits are required both are open to the public, which means that there will be other people around.  The pricing for these packages is going to be less expensive for this reason.  With these two locations we always suggest the least crowded times and will help you with figuring out the timing of the ceremony based on your specific vision.  Every other package that we offer are at Private Venues (meaning - we pay a venue fee, and you get the space all to yourself). The venue fees are included in the package price.  Which option you choose is based around your personal preferences.  Some couples prefer total privacy, others don't care.  If you'd like to add in chairs or a floral altar - these are only available at Private venues (aka. they are NOT available with our Simple Beach package or our Botanical Garden package).

what's the difference between a public and private venue? 

Every month in Hawaii is beautiful, with temperatures in the low 80's and tropical light sea breezes to keep cool.  It isn't usually very humid or rainy here but we do have the occasional rain storm that passes through.  The more rainy months are December - March, but 90% of the time these months are sunny.  Usually light rains will pass within 10 minutes and planning around rainy months really isn't necessary.

what is the best month to get married in hawaii?

Yes, absolutely.  We help you to arrange and book all of this.  We'll help you to sort out the timing of everything will be and will outline the details you need to be aware of before reaching out to our vendors on your behalf to get you quotes. We get discounted rates and we'll pass that savings directly to you.  We will set everything up for you so that it's super easy and you get the best possible pricing.  We also have recently added in drone options for videography which can be so much fun! Just let us know if you want to add these things in when we get to this part of planning. 

CAN WE ADD IN TRANSPORTATION FOR OUR GUESTS & videography?

Unfortunately no, right now we are focused in on couples who are looking for smaller more intimate weddings that include a custom ceremony and a more relaxed dinner reception (at a nice restaurant or luau instead of renting a private venue). 

Our weddings offer couples a chance to save 2/3 of the wedding cost (or $10-$40k) by opting not to do a full custom reception, but they're not for everyone.  If a private dinner reception with speeches, a bouquet and garter toss, formal cake cutting and custom dinner is your wedding vision, we are probably not the best fit for you.

We don't help you to book hotels or travel but will give you custom advice and suggestions on the best places to stay (for different budgets and experiences), ideas on things to do while in Hawaii (hiking, places to eat, things to do), and suggestions on travel deals, upon request. 

When you book with us you'll get a personal planner available to you 24/7 who can answer any wedding or Hawaii related questions you may have. 

Do you help with travel or hotel bookings?

Our all inclusive Hawaii wedding packages are set up to include everything you need for a beautiful, intimate Hawaii wedding ceremony. So you can start there to get an idea of budget, this price goes up if you decide to add on things like hair and makeup, videography, custom florals, etc.  We give you very detailed options throughout the planning process and get you discounted rates with vendors (florists, videographers, etc.).  You make the final decisions on what you want to add-on.  If you want a customized budget breakdown before booking we're happy to do that too, just let us know your vision and request a sample custom budget when you fill out our contact form.
