This is a big one! You will be assigned your own personal wedding planner available to you 24/7 by email. Customizable Decor

The Hawaiian lei ceremony is a fun and beautiful island tradition that we will help you incorporate into your wedding ceremony. The exchange of leis represents the two of you choosing each other as lovers and companions for life. We provide you with these beautiful traditional Maile & Pikake Leis and your officiant will guide you through this special ceremony. You may choose to forego this ceremony if you wish and just wear the leis later in the evening. Also included are rose petals for guests to toss after you say "I do".

HAWAIIAN LEI CEREMONY & TOSSING PETALS

After having done hundreds of weddings, we have connections to the islands best officiants. We’ll hand-pick a wedding officiant that is the best fit for you as a couple. Religious & traditional, simple and non-denominational or a ceremony with a conch blow and Hawaiian blessing intertwined. You tell us your vision and we customize your ceremony and match you up with the perfect officiant or minister.  The cost of both photography and officiant is included in the package!

LICENSED WEDDING OFFICIANT

We'll set you up with an award-winning photographer to capture your wedding day. Our photographers will guide you with poses, make you feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera and make sure that no moment is forgotten. One hour of professional photography will cover your wedding ceremony plus family and couple beach photos afterwards. Final photos are edited and provided digitally. This is totally up to you.  You tell us your vision and we can make it happen.  A floral wedding arch and wooden chairs are the most common set up and if you want to add in the mini-reception we can assist with coordination of table florals and table decor as well.  Start pinning ideas on Pinterest of florals and decor ideas that you LOVE and we'll help you to bring your vision to life!  

what kind of floral decor can we do?

We can absolutely help you with this but the cost varies and will be put together based on your specific requests (type of drinks, number of drinks, number of guests, etc.). It could be anywhere from $500 to $2000+.  

we want to add in the mini-reception but also want a full bar and cocktail hour, what is the cost? 

The menu is standard and unchangeable.  Since staffing, rentals (silverware, plates, glassware, trash removal, etc.) is all included in the total cost we do not have any additional catering options available at this time.  If you're not loving the menu, you may want to consider taking guests out to a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant.  We can help you with ideas and suggestions on this!

We want to add on the mini-reception but don't love the menu, what do we do?

Unfortunately this venue is only available for weddings booking in the 2023 calendar year.  If you are looking to book a wedding in 2024, please check out our other wedding packages.

frequently asked questions

The mini-reception is not a formal full traditional reception.  It is more of a laid-back, fun lunch or dinner gathering at a gorgeous venue.  We've got about 3 hours after the ceremony to enjoy the view, hang out, take photos, and do a cake cutting (optional).  A formal program would be totally different and would include things like a grand entrance, speeches, father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc.  There will not be a formal program at this mini-reception.  

how is this mini-reception different from a traditional formal reception? 

So many options here!  The easiest way to customize the look of the ceremony is by adding chairs, and a floral altar.  We work with you to put together a custom floral order with a look and feel (style and colors) that you LOVE.  Next we match the bouquet, boutonnieres and any other florals so that everything matches.  You can add floral leis for guests and we can drape them over the backs of the chairs to create a really pretty look.  Regarding altars specifically, we have a circle, 2-post, hexagon, triangle and 4 post altars to choose from.  We present you with lots of ideas and photo samples, you choose what you like best.  One other fun thing we've done is a coconut toast after the ceremony.  Coconuts are cut fresh and this is really fun plus looks great in photos. Also, if you're adding on the mini-reception you could add in a DJ or live musician, plus a little Hula Show (super fun!) and cake cutting.  We don't do cake-cutting for the ceremony-only packages.

how can i customize My wedding & make it special?


It depends, if you decide to do the ceremony only option - you have 2hrs.  If you do the ceremony plus the mini-reception you have 5hrs total.  

how much time do we have at the venue?



This is the secret question nobody wants to ask and so I thought I'd just address it directly.  It totally varies depending on guest count and how many extras you decide to add-on.  All of our wedding packages are set up to include the basics of everything you'd need for a beautiful Hawaii wedding - but there are likely a few things you'll want to add on like hair and makeup, flowers, and transportation.  If you've never planned a wedding in Hawaii you probably have no idea how much all of this stuff costs.  We are happy help here and will outline a sample custom budget for you before you decide to move forward with booking to help ease your mind about the budget.  Just ask us when you inquire and let us know as many details as possible about your vision - the more the better! 




how much should we expect to spend on our wedding if we are doing the ceremony plus mini-reception?

Absolutely, the price includes our photographer getting photos for the full event, from the start of the ceremony until after cake-cutting.

If we book the mini-reception add on, will our photographer stay for the full event? 

Transportation needs to be arranged and we can assist with this.  A mini-bus or van can pick guests up and drop you off at the venue. This will be an additional fee and could run anywhere from $500-$1500.  Another option for a smaller group would be to Uber!

since there is no parking on site, how does this work?

No, unfortunately the mini-reception is only available for micro-weddings of 20 guests or less.  If you have more than 20 guests we are not offering any reception options at this time.  

We have more than 20 guests and want to do the mini-reception add-on, can you help us? 

The Hawaii Kai Estate is the only venue that we are offering the mini reception at this point in time.  

WE want to do a mini reception at another venue, can we do this?

Just let us know that you want to add on videography and we'll help you to set this up.  There will be an additional cost, and we will get you a custom quote.
